I heard his soft whimpers as I fell asleep for the last time.

Reluctantly, I released my lips from his. I was held tight in his embrace; he whispered three meaningful words softly in my ear. He tensed unnaturally and startled shuffling awkwardly, seemingly scrambling in his pocket. I looked up puzzled as tears left trails of despair as they rolled down his soft cheeks. He looked into my eyes mournfully and held me closer to his warm chest. Worried, I began to whisper sweet nothings in his ear, reassuring him, telling him I'll sort things out, and we'll be together, I love him and- a shooting pain stabbed me in the back: white hot, stinging and an altogether unbearably shocking sensation rushed all over my body. I felt my blood turn cold and my hands began to shake as I fell to the floor in his arms, fighting to stay conscious. I heard his soft whimpers as I fell asleep for the last time.

I held her in my hands, stroking her silky, lush hair frantically. She laid in my lap, eyes wide, lifeless and glassy, her body cold and motionless. The rain pattered down, cold and hard like silver bullets falling around us.
'I did this for us, my darling, now we can be together, forever, and they can't touch us anymore.' I squeezed her hand. 'I love you. So so much.' and I clicked the trigger once more, slowly fading away. She hovers in front of me... there now darling, lets run together, lets be free, lets rest next to each other and not worry about one thing ever again.

Hello! Welcome to my brand new blog!

This is my brand new blog and as it's New Year's Eve I've decided to start posting my writing. My sister encouraged me to do so, plus my Uncle has a very successful one, so I thought I might as well share my writing as I've been told I'm quite good and I enjoy it a lot! In a few hours at a little after 12, it will of course be the first of January, and I will post my first ever piece of writing on this blog. It's a new year, and I'm trying out new things. I'm going to stay very dedicated and write here, every Sunday (because that will be the day of my first post and I'd like to do it weekly, as well as the fact I'm usually not too busy on Sundays) I hope people enjoy reading this post as I will of course enjoy writing them. Any support or constructive criticism is welcome, just comment and I'll get back to you! As for now, happy New Year's Eve, and I hope each and every one of you have a fun, successful and enjoyable 2012!
